When it comes to healthy snacking, an apple is a mandatory mainstay. Taking a bite into one is routine, without much consideration given to invigorating taste. Check this out: the Rainier Fruit Company wants to liberate us to a land where apples are something to crave. They introduced the new Junami brand apple for a limited time in exclusive U.S. markets on Jan. 29, promising a winter delight “bursting with flavor.” The company harvests the Switzerland-originated apple, which acquire relishes in storage, and grow in the “best regions,”  like those in Eastern Washington. “The Junami apple offers the best characteristics of several varieties and combines them into one,” said Suzanne Wolter, Rainier’s director of marketing. “We know that consumers especially like Junami apples because of their juiciness, crisp texture and well balanced taste.” A hit among the Euro crowd, they project the brand to hit big in the states. The standout, fresh apples have a perfumed flavor, tart taste and bright red color. Visit www.rainierfruit.com/ for the nearest store.
