The soon-to-open refurbished Angel City Brewery continues to build a buzz as a beer lover’s paradise.

There, it is about plentiful pours, and “old-world, small-batch craft brewing.” Founded in 1997, Angel City set up shop in the L.A.’s flourishing arts district, deep in the city’s robust craft beer movement. They are currently re-mastering the Alchemy & Science-owned business with a sizeable bar and meeting house, brewery and event space.

Their rebooted tap room will feature a substantial bar and picnic tables. It looks as if that will be the nucleus of this large, art deco-furnished warehouse.

Within those confines, customers can imbibe brews like their wildly popular Eureka Wit, a “California style white beer” infused with citrus. Its counterpart, Angeleno IPA (India Pale Ale) is a “medium-bodied, hoppy” beer. Since artisan beer is their lifeblood, why not spread the love?

In fact, they are getting so much love. Those two beers are coursing through the taps of many of L.A.’s downtown spots. They have also rolled out an exclusive vanilla porter and pilsner, a “medium bodied Bohemian style [beer] with a dry, hoppy finish.”
